Work Screen Based Flight
The Scottish Society of Artists (SSA) website includes information about artists based in Scotland. In the late nineties any SSA artist could provide up to five images for a portfolio page on the site. I decided to make something specifically for their 'Artists Pages' section. I wanted to make the computer screen and viewing process part of the work itself, rather than have work I’d made in other media simply reproduced on screen. The piece was developed in 1998 after a family bereavement and was a response to the experience of packing the personal possessions that were left behind. See Flight here.
