Work Residencies

Residencies

To date I have been an artist in residence twice. Residencies provide an opportunity for artists to live and work in an environment away from home. They can last from a few weeks to many months. The remit of residencies can vary widely. Sometimes they are set up to be something akin to a retreat, providing space and time for an individual to focus entirely on research and creative output. Sometimes they will provide an opportunity for the artist to run art workshops and community events in tandem with their practice.
