Work Residencies

Residencies

To date I have been an artist in residence twice. Residencies provide an opportunity for artists to live and work in an environment away from home. They can last from a few weeks to many months. The remit of residencies can vary widely. Sometimes they are set up to be something akin to a retreat, providing space and time for an individual to focus entirely on creative output with no distractions. Sometimes they will include a requirement for the artist to carry out education work alongside their practice.
