Site-Specific

Work developed for a specific location. I enjoy the discipline required to work to a brief and have found it can sometimes be a relief to have some non-negotiable restrictions—whether technical, conceptual or practical—when making new work. This might limit some options but in turn it often opens up surprising directions that would never have been explored otherwise. Included here is work developed for a petrol filling station and a piece sited in a stately home.
